Simulation of the February 2013 quench test (R. Bruce)

Description of this case:

Nominal sequence, as used in 2012 at 4 TeV. This includes a writing out of the single diffractive events.

The simulations correspond to the quench tests performed for B2H, 4TeV, with relaxed settings given below.

Two different scattering routines were used: the default SixTrack one, and the improved routine developped in 2013 as part of C. Tambasco's master's thesis (results below).

The latest results added correspond to simulations performed using the new developed scattering routine and the updated density of the primary and secondary collimator jaw material. The new density of carbon-fiber-carbon (CFC) composite was set to 1.67 g/cm3.
